Rules:

All Parents/Guardians are Response for your own Child/Children

General Rules:
  1. NO Foul Language.
  2. NO Running.
  3. All Swimmers MUST BE in the Grandstands unless buying something from the Canteen or go to the marshaling area for Swimming.
  4. ONLY Go under Lane Ropes.
  5. Do not Hold on to Lane Ropes.
  6. Put all rubbish in allocated bins.
  7. Do NOT crowd the Marshaler
Book Rules:

  1. No Child will be admitted to the pool on swimming nights unless he/she is accompanied by an adult who will be responsible for his/her conduct at the pool and on the way home. All children must remain in the pool ground until all races are completed
  2. Nominations must be lodged at the pool by 6.45pm each swim night to allow for a 7.00pm sharp start to the races. If you are running late, please notify a committee member who will nominate on your behalf.
  3. All swimmers must be suitably attired. Girls must wear one- piece bathers and all swimmers must wear bathing caps.
  4. There is to be no running around in the pool grounds at anytime.
  5. Dressing rooms must be kept neat and tidy. No competitor should loiter in the dressing rooms.
  6. Marshal will not delay any event for any swimmer who does not report when called.
  7. When the whistle goes there should be absolute silence for the start of the race, until the swimmers are in the water.
  8. The Club President, Marshal or Starter may disqualify any member from swimming for misconduct at any time.
  9.  Any dispute arising from any club activity in the first instance should be referred to the Club Committee via the Club President for discussion at the next meeting.
  10. End of season trophies will be presented at the discretion of the Club Committee.To be eligible for a trophy, a child must swim a minimum of eight (8) club nights during the current season and at least three (3) of these must be consecutive.
  11. Lanes 1 & 2 will be allocated for younger or less experienced swimmers. Please stay out of these lanes during the warm up.
  12. Swim nights can only be cancelled by a decision of the Club Committee at the pool. The Committee may, at discretion, abandon any Club Swim during the course of the program if they consider the weather conditions may endanger the safety of the swimmers.
